We expect you'll be gathering quotes from other companies - and we appreciate you need to get the best value for money.
When we are looking for services/suppliers, we often think "why should we choose you?", and therefore have created this page to address some common questions;

We are a small local company, and rely on our good reputation in the local area.
All our clients are special, and we would not be enjoying our success if it not for our repeat clients and their happy guests!

We do not sub-contract to other DJ's
When we meet or discuss your plans, you'll be speaking directly to the DJ for your party. We do not take other bookings once the date is confirmed. Any new enquiries may be passed details of trusted colleagues, who will deal direct.
Some DJ's DO sub-contract, so do ask "who will be my DJ" when gathering quotes.

We feel presentation is important. We'll be smartly dressed and polite to guests.
If you're investing in a great party, you'll find us dressed for the occasion. We're even happy to join-in fancy dress if requested.

No pressure sales!
If you make an enquiry and we are able to quote, we'll try to contact you via your preferred method. We understand your choice is a personal decision, and promise not to continually contact you. We certainly won't pass your details onto anyone else.

Paperwork
We have both crucial pieces of paperwork required by many venues; PAT (Portable Appliance Test) and PLI (Public Liability Insurance).
These are NOT a legal requirement, but do make good business sense. Venues do have the right to turn-away suppliers that do not meet their requirements.

Its your Party
We never forget this, and so place emphasis on planning to get the party right for you.
If you require Indie music all night, we won't start playing Lady Gaga! We have online planning tools, but are equally happy to take suggestions/comments via email, phone calls or post.
We are happy to be surprised by your requirements, and have experience of an 18th with a taste of 80's, through to a 50th where nothing other than Club Music is allowed.

We carry back-up equipment.
This goes beyond a spare pair of headphones and some fuses. We prefer to err on the side of caution and ensure that we can re-start the party with very minimal downtime, in the event of any equipment failure.
This does mean we carry a complete back-up playback unit, back-up copies of each 1st (and 2nd) dances and requested tunes, spare mixer.
Speakers have built-in amplifiers and so a blown speaker will leave the other remaining which will be able to fill the dancefloor.
We have spare microphones, headphones and cables.
Short of a power-cut, there will be little to stop us playing for your party.
